Ombudsman's Reports

Every year the Insurance Ombudsman is expected to give a report to IASL of the work done for the year. In fact, the current Ombudsman (Dr. Wickrema Weerasooria) had submitted a six month report for the period February 2005 (The month of his appointment) upto July 2005. More recently he submitted to IASL (with a copy to IBSL) his twelve months report from February 2005 to January 2006.

This report which is with the IASL and IBSL is available for inspection (with the Ombudsman's approval) at the Ombudsman's office. The Ombudsman refers to this report in media interviews and articles by him.
